Fear

Fear,

Fear is the worst enemy of mankind. We all have learned it from the beginning. It is fear that makes us lose sight. In fear, we often lose our judgment. And then there are times, we fail to see our self-worth in fear.

Fear gives birth to an inferiority complex in the human mind. We start doubting our capability in fear. Maybe in fear of losing or fear of humiliation. But it is fear that renders us helpless.

And then there is this fear of losing that sows the seed of jealousy in our minds. We fear, losing our loved ones, and jealousy plants its roots in our minds. We fear that someone better might replace us in their life. And when this jealousy crosses the limit of innocence, we grow into a beast. We try to cage our most loved person, in fear. In fear of losing them if we leave them free.

But the worst outcome of fear is anger. The fear of losing, no matter if it is the position, power, or love turns us into a beast. In our conflict with ourselves, we somewhere turn into the beast. Someone who tries to keep anything with her at any cost. But at what cost? We probably never judge or even we do, we don't mind the bitter result.

No matter what is the reason for the fear, no matter where its roots lie in, it has never built anything, for anyone.

In fear, we end up losing ourselves.

In fear, we forget to trust our inner strength. It effaces all our capabilities only to replace them with self-doubt.

We forget our position in that person's life. Somewhere, even our trust falters just cause of some fear. Though the fear of losing is a sign of love how much is good? Till how long you can bear it? Till how long will they unsee your doubt on their love, care? Till how long your jealousy will be considered as an act of love and not selfish obsession? Till when your love behind jealousy will be adored by others?
The answer is, not for long. Just like a little jealousy shows your love, too much of it is suffocating. And exactly when we forget that fine line, the vision will change.

The jealousy that made them feel special will suffocate them. Your love that was adored behind your jealousy will be doubted or loathed. And you will be helpless. And being lost in the fear of losing them, you will only end up pushing them away.

It is the fear of losing that drives us to be better. It is fear that makes us work harder. It is the fear of losing the love that makes us love them more.

But just like everything, it is good only to an extent. There is always an invisible line until this madness is only sweet and harmless to everyone.

Happy Friendship Day

Friendship Friendship isn't just another relation in life. This small word,  " friend "  contains the whole world for you. Friendship is just like a breeze, soothes your heart, calms your mind, and makes your light brighter. A friend is that person who can make you smile even in the worst condition. The face you'll crave for even amidst thousand of people. That one friend can change your life in a moment.  A friend is a person who can make even the smallest things seem beautiful. That you can speak all your heart out, no matter how silly you sound. You can go to them with the silliest problem but they'll make it seem that you are on your death bed, and the same idiot will react as if nothing has happened and you are overreacting in your hardest days. A friend is a man who'll trust you when you'll lose trust in yourself. Who will support you when everyone leaves. It will make you laugh when your eyes are tired of crying and will teach y...

Lock-down diary

Pandemic, We all were introduced to this word through our history books. A global pandemic or an epidemic that appears to human life as a hungry beast, ruining everything under its influence. Spanish Flu, or Cholera all were just a mere chapter of our history book with some really disturbing images of the victims that we always turned over in a hurry. Every time, that we arrived at a chapter like that. Other than the page of history book another place that introduced me with this terrible picture of an epidemic was my Bengali literature book. When I was on the fifth standard. We had this story set on the backdrop of the Cholera Epidemic. And trust me I would cringe every time I had to learn that. While growing up, I read about Plague, again on my history book and the destruction that followed as a result of it in Kolkata.  But, that was it. The epidemic was just an ugly and bitter chapter of history for me. At times which would make me cringe or will make my heart beat l...

Feminism- Do we understand the meaning?

In the modern era, there are few terms that we hear frequently in our day to day life. And if you are someone with an active social media account are more familiar with these kinds of words. Like a few other such popular words or phrases, feminism is a term that is being used in everyday life quite a lot these days. But then, like most of the cases, even Feminism went through its share of controversies that obviously was never fair. Feminism Origin Feminism is the word that was derived from the French word  f éminisme,  which means "Being A Woman" in the late 19th century. But by the end of the 20th century, it gained the meaning "Advocacy of woman rights" . What is Feminism Feminism is a kind of belief where girls or women fight for their rights, equality, and the things that they deserve. It can be for equal respect, equal pay, basic right, the right to keep their opinion, the right to have an identity, and even more the right where they are an ind...
